Summary/Abstract: Notes on archaeological and historical places of Buzău County mentioned in some manuscripts belonging to the fund Pamfil Polonic In the present paper are published some unknown documents from the P. Polonic manuscript fund. Military surveyor and cartographer teacher, he was employed at National Museum of Antiquities at the end of the 19th. In this position he has a special activity of identification and recording of archaeological and historical patrimony of modern days Romania. He made field researches and archaeological diggings, also. Between his inedited works are some manuscripts related to the Buzău County territory. Those were made in September of 1900, when P. Polonic was in a documentation travel. The journal notes, done when he visit some archaeological well known places and few monasteries, were enriched by the study of cartographic maps, as some manuscripts, from 1918 and 1927, published in the present paper, can reveal.
