Cultura Cernavoda I în Bărăgan
La Culture Cernavoda I dans la Plaine de Baragan

Summary/Abstract: The archaeological excavations made in the eastern part of the Romanian Plain showed the actual presence of the Cernavoda I habitations in this area. The stratigraphy and the typological analyses attested the existence of some large settlements with one or two habitation levels, from the Ib and Ic stages. A part of the „ochre graves” belong to the Cernavoda I culture. The presence of the local Gumelniţa factor as well as some southern and eastern elements can be seen in the inventory of the Brăiliţa necropolis.
