Financial structure of local tourist organizations

Summary/Abstract: The active operation of local tourism organization is an important contribution to the sustainable development of tourism in the area. This activity depends on gained funds and institutional conditions of operation of tourism. The aim of the paper is to assess the financial structure of Local Tourism Organizations and to determine minimum funding level at which the organization is able to perform assigned tasks. The paper presents the overall level of income of local tourism organizations and analysis of changes in the financing structure of Czestochowa Tourist Organization in the years 2006-2012.
