Summary/Abstract: An international conference dedicated to the legacy of David Gans took place on 27–29 May 2013, co-organized by the Prague Centre for Jewish Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague and the Kurt and Ursula Schubert Institute of Jewish Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the Palacký University in Olomouc, and with the assistance of the Thomas-Institut at Cologne University (Germany) and the Jewish Museum in Prague. The conference was supported by the Thyssen Foundation and by the Foundation for the Holocaust Victims.
