Summary/Abstract: There are three dimensions of the actions and processes occasioned by the eurozone crisis in 2010. First came an ad hoc creation of bailout and stabilization frameworks in reaction to, respectively, the Greek crisis and to the consequent developments in the eurozone. In mid-May 2010, Greece received the first tranche (€20 billion) of a loan provided by other EU member states and the IMF, as part of a three-year bailout package of €110 billion. And on the night of 9 May 2010, the ECOFIN Council adopted a stabilization package for the eurozone.
