The Hero and Anti-Hero in Koroglu Epic (Azerbıjan variant)

Summary/Abstract: Koroglu epic is the product of the transition period from epic to story. Köroğlu narrative is epic in terms of some of the features and some features of the Koroglu narrative is folk story also. Koroglu, as e hero, has hugeness, ehtraordinary power, bravery, etc. But he has some weakness. For ehample, deceit, defeat against the enemy, etc.Nevertheless Koroglu and his comrades are important a particular period in terms of social values.İn this study will focus on the types of “hero” and “anti- hero” in Koroglu epic (Azerbaijan variant).
