Summary/Abstract: Kaygusuz Abdal lived in late XIV. and early XV. century. It is estimated that he was born after 1341. He is son of Hüsameddin Mahmud, the lord of Alaiye Sanjak. His real name is Alaaddin, but he is known as Kaygusuz Abdal. After Yunus Emre, he is the most important representative of Turkish sufi literature. He produced about 15 works. As the first and the most prominent representative of the Bektashi literature, he presumably died in 1444. In this study, we will examine spiritual and moral education of Kaygusuz Abdal and the concept of human by analyzing his life and works.
