Summary/Abstract: This study deals with three biblical texts reading on oil sacrament of the sick, which contains Old Testament quotations. Hearing the Apostle lecture (Rom. 15: 1-7) from second group of lecture and from the 4th group Apostle (II Cor. 6:16- 7:1) and Gospel (Matt. 8: 14-23) lectures, the Christian believers receive a proof of God’s encouragement, reading about divine will accomplished in Jesus Christ. The theme of divine consolation “pours through the Scriptures”, must patient of the community of Rome. The expression “the insults of those who insult you have fallen on me” from Psalm 68:10 (LXX) refers to the sufferings and crucifixion of the Lord, urge a silent suffering to consolidate the spiritual unity. The unity in Christ is underlined by the exhortation of purified the moral life (II Cor. 6:17-18), assuming the worship of servant of God (Is. 53:4), like Peter’s mother in law. These quotations fortified the sick man by spiritual conversion and call Christian Church to pray faithful from Lord’s forgiven (Jam. 5:5).
