Summary/Abstract: The School of Imagination, born in the second half of the twentieth century in France, can be considered a great creation of the mind based on the pillars of a humanism claimed by the requirements of the century. This school has contributed much to the birth of a critical attitude focused on figurative thinking, thinking that unifies through interdisciplinarity and even through transdisciplinarity various areas of the mind. We propose in this small article to highlight some educational aspects of the founders of the concept of imaginary and of their schools of wisdom (Gaston Bachelard and Gilbert Durand). At the same time we will try to take some contributions of Professor Jean-Jacques Wunenburger in search of the imaginary and the creation of a philosophical school of the imaginary.
