Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses the possibilities of developing new and extending the existing methodological concepts which correlate and integrate the instruction in history and geography. Relying on a multitude of new methods and having in mind their advantages and shortcomings, the concept of developing new approaches rests on the increasingly pronounced demand for correlation in the instruction, especially in elementary school. By joining the correlation process, a better form of the teaching process and its better understanding are brought to the front burner. The basic purpose of this paper is to point to the possibility of including various integration components during the educational process related to the subjects of instruction in pri mary schools. The instruction in history and geography has been taken as a leading example of such processes.
