The Concept of Germany in D. Rubina’s Works

Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes the representation of the concept of Germany in D. Rubina’s travelogues “Koksinel” and “On the way from Heidelberg” in the context of the construction of the image of the Alien/Other. As a result of the research the following statement is made: the form (the Other) and the semantic content (the Alien) of this concept do not coincide, which gives rise to the image of an “imaginary” Germany, opposed to that of a “real” one
