Summary/Abstract: Blue Ocean Strategy is the systematic pursuit of new market and new demand creation through the simultaneous pursuit of differentiation and lower cost (value innovation). In this paper the blue ocean strategy is deployed on the online industry, especially on e-commerce. The six paths framework and four action models are used in creation of many successful e-commerce businesses such as Yahoo!, Amazon.com, etc. Those blue oceans make their competitors irrelevant, but to keep them with sustainable competitive advantage the companies must constantly look across their environment and trying innovate the value of its products and services.
