WOMAN INMPLICATION IN SOCIETY AND MULTICULTURAL MANAGEMENT

Summary/Abstract: The development of management is an important part of society evolution. Today management is considered not just the art to lead an organization or a group; it is a science that uses complex techniques and methods through which the leaders try to achieve their goals and objectives. In most cases on management activities are involved men, but in the last centuries the women are more involved in society and also in management processes. This paper tries to point out an historical evolution about the role and position of women in society and also in management. For many centuries women had a secondary role in society, but in the last two hundred years, the women start an important emancipation movement through which tries to obtain the same position and rights in society like the men.
