Summary/Abstract: The article investigates the problem of personal career management concept and the development of personality able to manage one’s career. Modern social, economic and educational assumptions underlying the relevance of personal career management skills for every individual are analysed. The changes in organizational and personal career models and, consequently, changes in the formation of the need to develop personal career management skills are revealed; the concept of personal career management skills is defined. The most general guidelines for personal career management skill development are presented.
