Summary/Abstract: The authors bring forward specific matters concerning the time limit, transfer, and extinction of the utility models inherent rights, creations of an industrial applicability, only recently regulated by the Romanian law, through Law no. 350/2007. The article is focused on the juridical elements particular to the utility models compulsory license, analyzing the law provisions in force with regard to the judicial license cases, and also suggesting some law modifications capable to cut out the legislator’s errors, and harmonize the law text with the legislative technical rigors.
