Summary/Abstract: Philosophy in time of pluralism, the time which is characteristic of that what H. Berlin calls the irreducible multitude of values and cultures, is atemplation for philosophers. Stigmatizing of eurocentrism, i. e., the idea of European identity as superior comaising it with all non-European peoples and cultures has, now, the general position. The irony of eurocentrism is in placing the aim to the non-European societies which is questionable even from the point of view of the Western societies. Intersubjective comprehension and communication, which is more necessary today than ever, are indivisable from critics as well from self-critics. In this context it is clear - the importance of Ch. Taylor’s “language of comprehensive contrast” and J. Rawls’ “overlapping consensus”.
