Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on verbs in the verbal Latin-Czech dictionary, a part of the Slovník klementinský (The Latin-Czech Dictionary of Clementinum) from the year 1455. It is documented and proved here, using translations of verbs from Latin to Czech, that this dictionary is dependent on Latin-German dictionaries and the translator was often inspired by German equivalents, which he was very often translating literally. The translator has also tried to imitate the structure of the German translation. That is why one finds unusual amount of calques, loanwords and hapax legomena in the Slovník klementinský.
