Development of cluster initiatives in Lower Silesia

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to analyze the determinants of cluster development in Lower Silesia. The author analyzes Lower Silesia region indicating these industry and service sectors which are significant industry concentration with the highest “group creative” potential and identifies cluster initiatives in the region. In addition, the author presents the strategic programs implemented in Lower Silesia, important for cluster development: the Development Strategy for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, the Lower Silesian Innovation Strategy and the Regional Operational Programme for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
