The regional and industrial identification and the cluster development on the example of Ciechocinek spa cluster „health valley” – research results

Summary/Abstract: In the article the author, based on research conducted among the participants of Ciechocinek Spa Cluster „Health Valley” identifies the factors that determine the success or failure of such projects, concentrating on regional and industrial identification of members and cooperation with local and regional authorities. Poor involvement of the coordinator and members of the initiative as well as public authorities prevents the integration process, while a successful initiative, which equate to all members ensures the development of sustainable and strong ties in the group of cooperating entities and indirectly affects the image of the whole region.
