Transactions on the internal market of services

Summary/Abstract: This study shows that in the last years in case of service flows registered in the current account of balance of payments among EU Member States despite the fact that between 2004 and 2008 the level of internationalisation of service transactions rose the share of intra-EU flows in the total EU services trade has been systematically decreasing since 2004. However, the situation differs among the EU countries. As far as the impact of the recent crisis on intra-EU trade in services is concerned, one can notice that the EU countries have been also unevenly affected.
