The general conclusion is that the world economy is in the servicization phase of development, but it is not evident in all regions and during the last years there have been changes inverting previous long-term trends. Moreover, the region of advanced (developed) economies has noted the decrease in its share in the world economy and the world economic centre has shifted from the Atlantic to the Pacific area for many years.
