Polish internet economy – current state and future perspectives

Summary/Abstract: Growth of the Internet, in both its virtually universal accessibility and increasing importance in business, influences current global economy, as well as economy of Poland. Due to visible and still increasing role the Internet plays in the economy of Poland, it appears necessary to research and measure the increasing influence the Internet has on the markets. The paper attempts to gauge the importance of the Internet in the economy of Poland based on existing methodologies used to measure Internet economy and research conducted by international organizations.
