Summary/Abstract: A university curriculum comprises besides full courses and their seminars, the practical courses also, which are meant to give the students the opportunity to apply and use the accumulated knowledge in a 'practical' manner. These types of special courses have proved to be very helpful and are enjoyed by the students who appreciate the chance they have been given. One of such activities is the creative writing practical course, designed for the third year of study, minoring in English. This course can constitute a wonderful experience for both the students as well as the teacher, but it might also be drudgery task. Many factors are to be considered in order to prevent this course from becoming the latter.
