Summary/Abstract: A short critical study which, through historical-critical analysis, deals with ideas and engagement of Croatian and Bosnian writers and critics Josip Milaković, Jozo Dujmisić, Dragutin Prohaska and Ivan Kasumović, the authors which published their literary critical works in educational-pedagogical journal „Školski vjesnik“ / “School Herald” (published in Sarajevo from 1894 to 1909). There was in the center of interest of mentioned authors Croatian literature of Illyrian period, especially the works of Ivan Franjo Jukić and Grga Martić.
