Summary/Abstract: The author presents and comments the “trial” that took place at the “Small Theater” in Warsaw, based on Katarina Janovska and Piotr Mucharski’s volume of “Dialogues in the New Millennium”. The debates analyze the changes within the society and in the Poles’ behavior that have taken place in the last decade, as a result both of the transformation process and the traditional attitude and way of thinking of the typical idealized Polish citizen. The author also puts all these aspects in a comparative perspective with the Romanian society.
