Summary/Abstract: Increasing competition in the rural tourism services market stimulates service suppliers to show more consideration, to develop new services and, using some means, to form a new image of rural tourism services. The aim of this article is to formulate an image formation model for rural tourism. The article presents the analysis of elements forming the image of rural tourism services. Image of rural tourism services depends upon the supplier who presents services and the needs of service consumers. A more important thing for a consumer who rests in a village is service assortment, presentation, warm and pleasant service. All these directly depend on services supplier.
