Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the meaning and the features of effective team development, discloses the role of a team leader and describes the process of effective organizational development. Literature analysis allows substantiating the meaning of team work in the process of organizational development. The reason is that team work serves for quality and flexibility of organizational activity. It also raises the problem of personnel motivation and devotion and creates possibilities to attract and keep qualified workers. These factors influence quality in decision making and an ability to adapt to changes. A modern organization can develop and seek for its aims only on the basis of team work.
