Summary/Abstract: The article analyses a philosophical aspect of personality development in the context of vocational education and training on the basis of pedagogical, psychological and philosophical scientific resources. A classification of philosophical trends of personality development is presented. The article investigates the impact of philosophical trends of education oriented to a person, productivity and developing skills in principal problem solving on the development of vocational training. Perspectives for methodological research continuity are foreseen and conclusions of this theoretical research are presented.
