Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on the transformation of the characters’ healthy bodies into failing ones. By using Michel Foucault’s theory on body as a source of power and knowledge, Alphonso Lingis’ theory on body as inscription of libidinal intensity and De Certeau’s on the fictionalised body, I shall make an attempt at analysing the transformed bodies of The Alexandria Quartet.
