Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on the issue of identity projected on a postmodern background in the novel mentioned above. Several identity types are analysed: Ernestina’s questionable linear identity, Sarah’s shifting identity and the multiple identity of the writer who moves on different levels in order to play with his characters.
