Summary/Abstract: The migration movements from Macedonia towards East Bulgaria during the past 100 years after the Liberation has been discussed. The settlements in the former Pestersky region which for there enough preserved statistic data and other resources are underlined in the basis of the analysis. are defined The main routes of the migration waves of movement are defined. During the period of research there are located about 4100 people, settled basically in 7 villages. Totally on today’s territory of Bulgaria there are 36 villages in which immigrants from Macedonia have located. The author suggests that the total volume of the migration flow be above 20 thousand people, which is a precondition for the establishment of stable migration models specific for Bulgaria after 1878 year.
