Summary/Abstract: From 452 pieces of art sent to the competition, the jurors selected 99. Therefore, a critic who wants to write about the condition of drawing has a difficult task: he/she has to only consider the limited number of drawings. The artists who participated in the show concentrated on silent questions about the reality. Some of them didn’t ask any particular questions, but, rather, they remained silent. They didn’t expect any answers. In the 21st century, drawing art isn’t as competitive as film or video productions. Nevertheless, we should be reminded of its importance. The exhibition organised after the competition showed the vitality of the medium.
