Doctor Chen Zhen’s Studio

Summary/Abstract: Chinese and Western artists started to communicate at the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris. Also, the Zacheta Gallery in Warsaw organised an exhibition of Chinese modern art. The shows included art by Chen Zhen, the artist, who tried to “diagnose the diseases of the world”. He said, that he would like to place a plate on the door to his studio, which would say: “Chen Zhen, Doctor of Medicine”.
