Summary/Abstract: Riddles that are one of the most important kinds of child literature, have very impotant place on their life because of its role on their mental, moral psychological and pyhsical development. In this paper, the contribution of riddle on child literature is discussed. Trying to find a riddle's meaning makes children think, prasides the cagnizing of concept's quaility. Thus, it stick's up for children's improving of themselves by making a contribution to their language, perception and mental development supported to develop themselves of children in trace that will prepare on sphere of child literature with this sides it was appraised place of riddle intellectual developmend. By these sides, on the work that will be prepared on the riddles and the place of the riddles.
