Summary/Abstract: The author tackles some issues that have been the center focus of bioethical research in the last couple of years. The beginning of the study is devoted to defining the terms: bioethics, techno-science, biotechnology that will give rise to questions which concern the ethical problems of the contemporary occidental man. Out of the desire to escape human condition, scientists seek to produce a man whose present life span will be expanded to reach the 100 year limit. Is the man of the future free to concoct himself and the world that surrounds him in a rational way? What does science say about this man as subject of this freedom?
