Summary/Abstract: In this paper the most significant prosodic features of the more archaic speeches of Živinice area along the upper stream of Spreča river are presented. These speeches belong to ijekavian-šćakavian dialect. Non-transferred long-falling stress, absence of vowel lengthening in vowel + sonant + consonant position, presence of long syllables before stressed ones characterise these speeches, but they have more prosodic specificities.
