Summary/Abstract: Polycultural region is unique in terms of studying the common features of language interference under conditions of parallel coexistence of several languages. South-east region is considered to be such region in the Republic of Lithuania, where representatives of different nationalities have been living for a long time. The article aims at examining the spheres of realization of the Belorussian language in Lithuania, also at defining the reasons for appearance in the Belorussian language interference positions, which are conditioned by polylinguistic situations on the examined territories. The article shows the most frequent examples of influence of Belorussian linguistic elements on other regional languages of Lithuania. The spoken language, which is written down during natural communication, is being investigated. The spoken languages of the Russians and Poles are being analysed to reveal their Belorussian peculiarities.
