Summary/Abstract: The author of the present contribution Poetického stavu nebylo dosaženo analyzes fourth Pavel Ctibor’s collection Silentbloky. Th e paper seeks to model readerly expectations generated by author’s biographic background and title in order to confront them with a particular affects of the poems-reports. The analysis draws upon both the tradition of speculative analogies, as well as methods of research such as analysis or observation. Th e paper concludes with evaluation of stylistic and compositional properties of the collection.
