Summary/Abstract: "Whenever we read an illustrated literary work, we cannot help connecting the text and the image: in most cases the two illuminate each other. The same is the case if we happen to read a poem inspired a painting, illustrating or even interpreting it. This paper is interested in the relationship between image and text, in the way these media are able to correspond and relate to each other.
