Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present the activities and the role of the autochthonous women's group Resisting Mothers (‘Otpor Moms’), which rose within the organization Resistance (‘OTPOR’) in Novi Sad (the capital city of the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina) in the summer of 2000. This topic is interpreted in empirical discourse.
