Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes exports and imports of agro-food of the European Union, pointed the changes in the dynamics of turnover and calculated comparative advantage indices (RCA) as well as Balassa’s and H.G. Grubel and P.J. Lloyd’s indices of specialization. Polish agro-food products, mainly processed products of animal and plant origin, showed a competitive advantage on the EU market. in the analyzed period.
