The Language of Vilnius Internauts

Summary/Abstract: The article aims at drawing attention to the analysis of a discourse led by Polish language Internet users in Lithuania. The subject of the analysis is Internet comments. It includes similar features occurring in the language of Internet users in Poland, too, and distinctive features of the language of Vilnius Internet users. The examples gathered in the article indicate that colloquial Polish in Lithuania includes dialectic qualities and interferential phenomena resulting from the linguistic contacts.
