Supporting public benefit organizations with 1% of personal income tax in Poland.

Summary/Abstract: This article addresses the issue of supporting public benefit organizations with 1% of income tax from individuals. Revenues from this source, together with subsidies and private donations, are a significant source of financing for Polish NGOs. Donating 1% of the income tax due also increases civic awareness and engagement.
