Local governments’ education expenditure in 2004-2008 in Poland.

Summary/Abstract: The present paper surveys education spending on all tiers of Polish local government in the years 2004-2008. In the first part the author reviews the educational tasks performed on the regional level. In the second half, she discuses the volume and the structure of the education spending.
