THE EVALUATION OF THE TOURIST POTENTIAL ON THE DANUBE VALLEY. CASE STUDY: CONSTANTA COUNTY

Summary/Abstract: The tourism on Danube Valley has unique characteristics given by the natural and anthropogenic tourist potential. In the Constanta sector, these features are added the valences offered by the possibilities of national cooperation. Based on the data obtained from the specialized institutions and on site, we have found out that not all the localities enjoy the presence on their territory of tourist objectives. Even if they have more natural and cultural resources, not all of them have real tourist valences, the accessibility and the attractiveness of resources having a very important role. Under an economy with downward trend, the tourism can provide a chance for revival and future development on the Danube Valley.
