Summary/Abstract: NATO Military participation in solving some crises appeared in different geographical areas of the globe, is more and more frequently achieved with optimally dimensioned deployable air forces, capable to perform fast interventions in the given areas. These forces must have a specific logistic support in order to accomplish the objectives of the respective air operations. The continuity of support for the air forces, following up the transition from a national logistic support to a collective joint one, imposes organizing and executing deployment of troops together with their stocks of materiel, in order to maintain their ability to ensure a steady and continuous logistic support up to the moment when the multinational support chain is operational.
