Impact of city logistics projects on quality of inhabitants life - preferred directions of action on the example of selected cities

Summary/Abstract: The main objective of the hereby article is to present the concept and preferred directions of action of city logistics projects and their impact on quality of inhabitants life. The first part of the article presents the substance of city logistics as one of the symptoms of actions aimed at implementing the objectives and functions of city logistics in the area. Moreover, there are identified criteria and types of city logistics projects, as well as entities that can be initiators of these projects. The second part presents research results of surveys conducted among inhabitants of three cities: Gorzów Wielkopolski, Jelenia Góra and Zielona Gora. The analysis and data will focus on solutions which may affect the improvement of inhabitants quality of life in the area of city logistics.
