ENGINEERING SUPPORT OF SPECIFIC LAND FORCES

Summary/Abstract: This article presents some considerations regarding the actual and future security environment that can influence the performance of the military operations and implicitly, the engineering support, as a component that contributes to the increase of the operational potential of a military structure. The wide range of engineering tasks, in which the engineering forces are involved are approached by functions and by ranges of actions of the engineering support, in correlation with the types of actions of the land forces, thus highlighting the importance of the engineering forces in relation with the operation.
