BRIEF CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT THE ENGINEERING SUPPORT AT THE GROUND FORCES LEVEL

Summary/Abstract: This article presents some considerations regarding the structures of the engineering troops in correlation with the responsibilities and tasks that must be fulfilled by these. Here are presented the principles that constitute the basis for employment in operations of the engineering forces and the necessary interrelations that should occur between different components of these in order to have good planning and organization of the engineering support. The specificity of the engineering support is presented through two direct and one indirect component, with this approach thus highlighting the dominant component of the engineering support functions and components.
