Knowledge about Nature Reflected in the Marginal Notes in Bulgarian Manuscript Tradition

Summary/Abstract: The comets, solar eclipse and earthquake were the natural phenomena which most often attracted the attention of the medieval men of letters and in all probability were recorded in a relatively accurate and regular fashion. The article offers some observations on the colophons and marginal notes containing evidence of knowledge in the sphere of natural sciences (astronomy and geophysics) from the seventeenth – nineteenth centuries.
